    • Fixed filter deletion bug, filter system rules can no longer be deleted by the user (issue 000151).

    • Altered behaviour of “Customize email view”. A warning is given if a column is marked as “show” and the column width is set to zero (making the column invisible) (issue 000152).

  • New Features

    • Added “Backup Profile” and “Restore Profile” functions to tool menu's. These backup or restore the Users profile. All current Account, emails and filter data is saved in the backup process.

    • Added automatic profile backup function, configured via Options settings page (auto backup is disabled by default) (issue 000140).

    • Added New Filter Group, “Bounce” filters check an email to see if it is some type of automated reply/bounce email sent from a server.

    • Added “Delete All” function to “Emails” menu. This will delete all emails in the current mail folder. If the message is in the In folder, Mail Snoop Pro will attempt to delete it from the Server and store a copy of the message in its Deleted folder (issue 0000132).

    • Added “Select All function to “Emails” and “Filters menu.

    • Altered Country Code configuration so it accepts codes (top level domains e.g. AERO) of more than 3 characters (issue 0000131).

  • Bugs Fixed

    • Fixed bug that caused the connecting to a Pop3 server using TLS encryption to fail (issue 0000143).

    • Fixed bug when an email is deleted as “not a friend”, the correct log message is now used (issue 0000134).

    • Fixed bug in “Test Filter” function, its no longer possible to make changes to a System Rule (issue 0000135).

  • Miscellaneous

    • Improved speed when displaying a large activity log file.

    • Updated Help File.

17 August 2009 – Version 2.11.018 Released

  • Added file selector setting to email client selection in Options. This lets the user select a program file to be run, if for example the email client you use can't be detected automatically by Mail Snoop Pro. (Issue 0000125)

  • Added language filter check setting to Options, this checks for the main language used in an email.
  • Added filter check setting to options for maximum and minimum allowed email size.
  • Added new filter setting to Options, this checks for sender = recipient (issue 000011)
  • Fixed bug when checking for spam on email header before downloading the email body (issue 0000124).
  • Fixed mailbox display bug when marking emails as read/unread (issue 0000118).
  • Fixed Address book import bug when attempting to import Windows Address book (issue 000019 ).

  • Improved startup and shutdown times. Data load/save re-written.
  • Placed “Activity Log” menu item on the system tray menu. (issue 0092 )
  • Altered default setting of “Use this mailbox's email address when sending/restoring” to FALSE. (issue 0085)
  • Altered default behaviour of Resend and Redirect function so that it works with SMTP servers that reject emails in which the From header field is not the known email address. (issue 0085)
  • Added new setting to Mailbox Properties, Outgoing Mail Server Page. “Use this mailbox's email address when sending/restoring”. (issue 0085)

  • A suitable connection to access your Email Server, using either LAN/Cable/ADSL/DSL or modem (Dial Up Networking).
  • 13MB disc space.
  • One or more POP3/SSL POP3 (Secure POP3)/IMAP/SSL IMAP(Secure IMAP) email accounts.
